Expérience de gestion et d'organisation médicale

-1983: Création et organisation du service de Chirurgie Orthopédique de l'Hôpital Paul Igamba, Port-Gentil, capitale pétrolière du Gabon. Service de 36 lits et 3 chirurgiens dans un hôpital moderne neuf. Important centre de traumatologie et de neuro-orthopédie.

-1987: Création et développement d'une activité de médecine sportive au Centre Hospitalier Molière Longchamp en collaboration avec les Départements de Cardiologie et de Pneumologie.

-1988: Création au CHML d'une Unité de mise au point fonctionelle des troubles vertébraux et d'un laboratoire de biomécanique clinique du rachis

-1988: Introduction de l'encodage informatique du RCM au CHML (avec un logiciel américain emprunté à Ernst & Whinney)

-1988: Conception et introduction de l'informatisation totale des consultations de chirurgie, orthopédie, urologie, gastro-entérologie et garde chirurgicale du CHML (Logiciel concu en collaboration avec Wang Belgium). Cette informatisation a permis une diminution notable des frais de personnel de consultation. Ce logiciel sera utilisé jusqu'en 1998.

-1988-1990: Représentation médicale hebdomadaire aux réunions de chantier du nouveau batiment et du nouveau bloc opératoire du CHML. Participation à l'implantation définitive des infrastructures chirurgicales.

-1996: Création avec le Département de Neurologie du CHML d'une unité de rééducation des troubles (oculo-moteur, vertiges, douleurs cervicales...) liés au whiplash (entorse cervicale/coup du lapin)

-1998 - 1999: Répondant médical pour le choix et le déploiement du nouveau logiciel de consultation médicale du CHML (Medar de Quadrat)

-1997 et 1999: Audit du fonctionnement médical du Département des Urgences du CHML et réorganisation médicale.

-Depuis 1990 à ce jour: Suivi régulier et analyse de l'activité du Service de Chirurgie du CHML (aspect médical et financier).

-Depuis 2001 à ce jour: Coordinateur du Comité de bloc opératoire du CHML.

-Depuis 2000 à ce jour : Représentation chirurgicale (avec le Dr. Hanson pour la médecine) du CHML au groupe du SYLOS afin d'étudier et améliorer le bon fonctionnement de l'interface urgences/hôpitaux/généralistes.
